ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Amy!

I am currently a 21-year-old PR Executive at Unsworth Sudgen Group. I graduated from University in July 2022 with first-class honors in Journalism. I was initially drawn to Journalism for its broadness and freedom to write news stories/ investigative pieces on whatever interested me at the time. By exploring this career further, I have developed a passion for the world of PR, Marketing and Social Media and successfully obtained a job in this sector, to which I love!

Being part of the millennial generation, social media is something I have grown and developed with. From MSN to BBM to now the endless amounts of social platforms - I have been a keen user of them all. For me, social media is a place where I can catch up with friends, post pictures of my travels and exciting milestones, whilst also keeping up to date with all the latest trends. I love all things fashion so I follow and fully understand influencer culture and the impact a great collaboration can do for both a brand and an individual.

Within my current job role, I am responsible for the management of clients from a range of different sectors, including health, house-building, and auto-motive. I have built extremely strong connections with all of my clients, and they trust my creativity and knowledge of different tactics to identify and engage the appropriate target audience.

I ensure I arrange regular monthly PR and Marketing meetings to reflect on previous PR activity and devise what we need to change going forward. My favorite part of being a PR professional is the opportunity to be creative when planning for campaigns. The most recent campaign I directed was for International Women's Day, where I arranged for two of my clients to create a campaign video (which turned out amazing if I do say so myself!).

I have always been a very determined individual, which is evident in my previous 10-year athletics career. I am a born leader and put my absolute all into anything life throws at me.
